Defensive Pistol Level 3 is an intermediate to advanced level shooting course that stresses low percentage shots at varying distances. More movement, multiple threats, target identification and extended range engagements out to 50 yards. Injured shooter and one-handed firearm manipulation skills in a dynamic defensive shooting environment.
1 Day Course (8 Hours)
Prerequisites - Prior training similar to Defensive Pistol 1 and Defensive Pistol 2.

Performance based shooting concepts.
Reactive versus predictive shooting.
Multiple threat engagements and transitions.
Moving and shooting.
Injured shooter.
Positional shooting.
Use of cover and concealment.

Modern semi-automatic pistol with 3 magazines
Sturdy belt and holster
(Notes on holsters. Must be rigid, ie, no soft nylon holsters and no Blackhawk Serpa holsters)
550 rounds of ammunition for your pistol
Eye protection, wrap around
Ear protection, muff style are recommended
Water & Lunch (as needed)
Sunblock/insect repellent as needed
Rain gear as needed
Long pants and sleeves are recommended.
Sturdy shoes, you will be on your feet a lot.
